Job Summary
Manage a book of renewal business within the transportation/trucking line, assisting in new business acquisition and processing professional service for clients, carriers, and underwriters. Own the renewal process up to quote presentation, handle transaction documentation, and order and analyze Motor Vehicle Records for assigned fleets. Prepare IFTA worksheets, issue certificates of insurance, and act as claims liaison to troubleshoot billing and coverage issues. Identify cross-selling opportunities, negotiate with underwriters, and critically analyze insurance plans to ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance. Support Producers and Account Executives in expanding transportation business while mentoring Assistant Account Managers and attending Top 200 Account meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Requisite insurance license
- At least 3 years' experience
- demonstrated proficiency in an insurance account management role
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with automated agency management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Department Account Management & Service Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Required Travel: Up to 25%
Desired Qualifications

- Familiarity with transportation-specific processes such as MVR ordering, IFTA reporting, and DOT/FMCSA compliance
