Job Summary
Account Manager in Houston responsible for leading and growing Waters’ territory through data-driven strategy, new business development, and multi-level relationship building. Role demands consultative, solution-led engagements across instruments, consumables, services, and software, translating scientific needs into commercial outcomes while managing complex deals from qualification to close. Requires building and sustaining a high-quality pipeline, monitoring forecast accuracy, and collaborating cross-functionally with technical sales, application scientists, service, and strategic accounts. Travel up to ~50–60% within the assigned territory is expected. A bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related field and 3–5+ years of sales/commercial experience are required; CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with life sciences or diagnostics environments are preferred.
