Job Summary
Account Manager for Home Health Sales drives referral growth and admissions within a defined territory by building relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, and other healthcare partners. Responsibilities include in-person territory development, establishing referral partnerships, cold outreach, achieving referral/admission targets, coordinating with clinical and operational teams, maintaining CRM activity, and representing the organization in the community through events and professional engagement. Preferred qualifications include direct home health or hospice sales experience and existing local healthcare relationships. Must be capable of daily in-person visits within the assigned territory and must manage prospecting, relationship management, and internal coordination in a performance-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Direct healthcare-related sales experience with responsibility for generating referrals and admissions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales or growth targets
- Experience managing a territory through in-person, field-based selling
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain referral relationships across healthcare providers
- High level of self-motivation and accountability in a goal-driven environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily field activity, follow-up, and reporting
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
