Job Summary
Account Manager for automation solutions selling to engineers and operations teams; develop and maintain direct customer relationships, prospect for new accounts, log sales activities in CRM (phone, site visits, quotes), assess account potential and needs, provide sales support at roadshows/workshops, follow up on leads, maintain high daily activity in a high-volume sales environment. Role involves working partly from a home office, partly from the road, and from the Irvine office to service the greater Los Angeles territory. Industries include aerospace, food & beverage, solar, and more; company distributes Siemens, Festo, SICK, and other manufacturers; Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a preferred qualification. EandM emphasizes ongoing training and a team-based approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Proven sales experience
- Strong organizational skills and CRM experience
- Willingness to travel and work hybrid schedule
