Account Manager – Government – Finance Cluster & National Departments ( outside of Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster )

Account Manager for Government – Finance Cluster & National Departments drives revenue growth by managing and expanding strategic government accounts. Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, coordinate renewals and upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and develop territory plans to align with commercial objectives. Responsibilities include managing pipelines across multiple opportunities, negotiating and closing commercial agreements, and maintaining in-depth product and market knowledge of LexisNexis solutions. Role requires strong relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to position value-driven offerings to customers through both virtual and in-person engagement in the Johannesburg region. Proficiency in proposals, presentations, CRM usage, and a consultative sales approach is expected to effectively translate customer needs into solutions. The position supports flexible work arrangements with a hybrid model (virtual and in-person engagements).
