Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for building and maintaining long-term client relationships and serving as the primary point of contact to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities include understanding client business objectives, providing strategic guidance, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, coordinating with Sales/Marketing/Operations for onboarding and ongoing support, conducting regular business reviews, distributing marketing resources, maintaining CRM data, analyzing client performance, and delivering reports and forecasts. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or military experience, 2+ years of account management in a B2B environment, CRM proficiency, and strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Travel to meet clients may be required; in-person role based at Global Guardian headquarters in McLean, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- 2+ years Account Management experience in a B2B environment
- CRM experience (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong customer focus and ability to understand clients' needs and expectations
- Proactive and self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients as needed
