Job Summary
Generate and close sales for consumable products to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physicians within the Little Rock, AR to Memphis, TN territory. Maintain awareness of procedures, new technologies, and competitive information to develop sales approaches and emphasize salable product features. Proactively identify new business opportunities, document future orders, and negotiate pricing with clinical and administrative personnel. Provide pre- and post-sale product demonstrations, attend surgical cases, and educate customers on equipment capabilities. Represent the Company at tradeshows, develop partner relationships, and provide training to other Account Managers. Maintain daily CRM updates, submit accurate expense reports, and adhere to internal Quality System policies and 21 CFR Part 820 regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- Three to five years of selling experience in the medical marketplace
- Device/capital equipment experience
- Excellent customer focus with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to successfully execute professional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to clearly express oneself verbally in the English language
- Good grammar, vocabulary, eye contact, and friendly voice inflection
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
- Persuasive and expositive skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Outgoing people-oriented personality
- Ready smile and a willingness to assist others
- Excellent computer skills including operating Windows based personal computers, various office equipment and machines, and telephone system
- Ability to efficiently and effectively use Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Ability to function calmly in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously
