Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for revenue growth and retention within assigned customer portfolios, managing relationships with executives and technical staff, developing territory plans, and closing complex sales in colocation, cloud, and managed data-center services. Requires a track record of sales success, ability to navigate IT organizations, develop technical responses for RFPs, and travel up to 50%. Proficiency with Salesforce and strong communication, negotiation, and strategic account planning skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales or account management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to engage with business decision makers in IT organizations
- Experience selling managed services, IT infrastructure, software-as-a-service or application hosting is ideal
- Willingness to travel to assigned territories (travel 50%)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to develop territory plans and sales strategies
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Ability to build relationships across customer organizations
- Self-directed and results-driven with a customer-centric approach
