Job Summary
Account Manager for Flex Pay (BNPL fintech) focused on growing and sustaining merchant partnerships in retail/e-commerce. You will manage day-to-day relationships with strategic partner accounts, support onboarding and implementation, coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Integrations, Product, Operations, and Marketing, monitor account health and conduct reviews, identify opportunities to expand and engage merchants, coordinate promotional campaigns and updates, and explain the Flex Pay product suite to non-technical stakeholders. The role requires 8-10 years of experience in account management or related client-facing functions, experience with enterprise/mmid-market stakeholders, strong communication skills, comfort working cross-functionally, and a proactive, data-driven, problem-solving approach. Remote in the United States with a base salary in the $140k-$160k range plus variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in account management, partnerships, customer success, client solutions, or an adjacent role
- Experience managing relationships with C-Suite stakeholders within mid-market or enterprise-level accounts
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms and digital retail ecosystems of various sizes and complexity
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience using AI tools in day-to-day work to improve productivity and communication
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with both business and technical teams
- Tech savvy with the ability to collaborate effectively with implementation teams
- Fast learner who can adapt quickly in a high-growth environment
- Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
