Job Summary
Manage customer relationships for truckload shippers by executing day-to-day transportation needs, accepting loads, and scheduling appointments. Process inbound, outbound, and return shipments using TMS (Mercury Gate) software to ensure accurate and timely delivery while maintaining daily reporting schedules. Resolve customer issues, generate quotes based on freight criteria, and update portals to provide load transparency. Lead with operational excellence by retaining and growing assigned customer portfolios through strategic account plans and billing resolution. Provide after-hours exception management and escalate complex solutions to the Senior Account Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, type and speak English fluently
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Elevated level of organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Desired Qualifications
- Additional years of education and experience may be substituted for each other, as determined by Management
- Experience working in a Transportation Management Software (Mercury Gate)
- Transportation experience and working knowledge of industry
