Job Summary
Build and manage accounts across San Antonio, South Texas, and West Texas by prospecting to identify opportunities, developing proposals, and conducting sales presentations. Secure orders by collaborating with Customer Service and Purchasing while negotiating rebates with vendors. Deliver solutions through product demonstrations, in-services, and customer training using the company website. Uphold the brand by providing timely responses and managing approved trade shows. This performance-based, remote outside sales role requires frequent travel, including overnight trips, and reports to the Sales Director for the Central Region.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of successful outside sales experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must provide proof of insurance on personal vehicle
- Must be able to travel 30-50% by personal vehicle
- Must be able to travel by air around assigned territory as needed
- Must be able to travel overnight
- Must be able to travel to attend trade shows and corporate meetings
- Must be able to answer posted questions
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or associate degree
- Experience selling to government agencies or working with public purchasing contracts
- Experience within healthcare, medical distribution, medical device sales, or related industries
- Knowledge of the EMS, Fire, or Pre-Hospital market
- Experience using Salesforce CRM
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Reside within the region covered by the position
