Job Summary
Account Manager in Singapore (Tai Seng) responsible for defining markets and acquiring new customers within the assigned sales territory; build strategic account plans, develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts, vendors, and engineering teams; drive solution selling across Arrow’s offerings, prepare quarterly business reviews, lead regular QBRs to unlock additional sales opportunities, promote value-added services and lifecycle programs, and leverage pricing programs. Requires experience in technical/engineering environments, strong understanding of supply chain management, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce. Independent contributor who may mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements, with a focus on customer satisfaction and growth across the assigned accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5-7 years of related experience or 3 years with advanced degree
- sales experience in electronics/tech industry
- ability to develop strategic account plans and lead QBRs
- proficiency with CRM systems (SalesForce.com) and Oracle
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- experience selling full Arrow offerings and lifecycle programs
- experience in price modeling and vendor/customer interactions
- ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and customers
