Account Manager, DNA Synthesis - S Korea

Job Summary
Account Manager for DNA Synthesis in Korea responsible for field-based sales of synthetic biology and life science reagents. Drive revenue growth by engaging with academic researchers, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical organizations; manage the full sales cycle from opportunity development to post-sales support; build relationships with PIs, researchers, and R&D leaders; coordinate with internal technical teams and channel partners; develop territory plans and maintain a healthy sales pipeline; represent the company at conferences and support local marketing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related life science field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in life science sales
- Experience selling to academic institutions, biotech companies, or pharmaceutical organizations in Korea
- Experience in customer-facing field sales roles is strongly preferred
- Basic understanding of molecular biology, genomics, or synthetic biology workflows
- Ability to communicate scientific concepts effectively with researchers
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate into commercial opportunities
- Strong organizational and territory management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a field-based role
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Preferred: Experience selling gene synthesis, NGS, antibodies, or synthetic biology related products
- Preferred: Experience managing key academic or biotech accounts in Korea
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Good English communication skills are preferred
