Job Summary
Account Manager for Designer Markets based in Chicago, responsible for leading residential sales growth across IL, WI, KS, and MO by cultivating long-term relationships with designers, decorators, retailers, and builders. Manages territory with proactive account management, strategic planning to fuel sales and retention, and delivering best-in-class service as a brand ambassador for York Wallcoverings. Requires strong presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple accounts, travel within the defined territory, and collaboration with Customer Service and internal teams to improve the customer experience. Deliver compelling product presentations, prospect new designers and accounts, and provide ongoing market insights and opportunities for product innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development – preferably in design, home décor, or building materials
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Located in the Chicago area and comfortable with travel throughout the defined territory (Chicago - IL WI KS MO)
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote, performance-driven environment
