Job Summary
Sales Engineer / Account Manager responsible for customer sales in the Greater Corning & Binghamton, NY region. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, promote the full Coromant product and service offering, identify new business opportunities, and grow market share. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions. Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline using MS Dynamics and Power BI to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting, and follow-up on customer engagements. Requires CNC machining/CAD-CAM/tooling knowledge, a manufacturing engineering background, and travel (~10%).
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools
- Proven success in technical sales or customer-facing roles
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- A valid driverâs license and willingness to travel (approx. 10% overnight)
