Job Summary
Account Manager in construction tool distribution responsible for managing national retail and big-box accounts, negotiating pricing, discounts, product assortment expansions, and other commercial terms; coordinating with buyers and procurement teams; supporting product launches and line extensions; aligning with inventory planning, logistics, forecasting, and supply chain; analyzing sales performance, margins, and product trends; developing presentations, reports, and business reviews; and maintaining accurate account records and communications with customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in National Account Management, Inside Sales, Category Management, Corporate Sales Support, Retail Account Management, or related roles serving national retail stores
- Experience with large retailers/big box customers and procurement processes
- Experience supporting product marketing, product development, account management, and customer service functions
- Direct communication with retail buyers and management of established accounts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with pricing matrices, margin analysis, logistics tracking tools, sales reporting, forecasting, and customer presentations
