Job Summary
Account Manager for Communities focuses on health, retention, and aggressive expansion of key commercial and eRetailing accounts. You own a book of business, ensure 100% net retention through renewal management starting 180 days out, and drive YoY growth by identifying and closing expansion opportunities within existing portfolios. Responsibilities include quota attainment for renewal revenue and expansion, land-and-expand strategy, upsell execution from discovery to contract amendment and closing, renewal and retention excellence, lifecycle management, churn mitigation, complex contract negotiation, executive alignment with procurement and marketing personas, and leading Executive Business Reviews to translate performance data into customer ROI. You will partner with Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction, provide feedback to product teams, and influence the roadmap for retail-specific needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of quota-carrying account management, customer success, or hunter sales role
- Experience with e-commerce, MarTech, and performance marketing personas
- Experience closing opportunities with ACVs ranging from $100k to $1m on 6-12 month sales cycles
- Strong renewal and retention focus; ability to manage renewals proactively and drive expansion
