Job Summary
Account Manager, Commercial Sales in Benelux for Proofpoint. Responsibilities include establishing executive-level relationships within organisations up to 2,500 users, hunting and expanding new business, differentiating from competitors, leveraging channel partners and Sales Engineers to deliver demonstrations and POCs, coordinating internal resources to execute account strategies, and driving pipeline and forecast while articulating Proofpoint’s value across security, compliance, and information protection platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of over-achieving targets in technology sales
- Experience selling SaaS solutions to SME and Mid Enterprise markets in Benelux
- Fluent in Dutch and proficient English; additional languages a plus
- Strong executive-level relationship building (CISO, CIO, etc.)
- Ability to develop new business pipeline and accurate forecast
- Experience coordinating multiple resources for complex sales strategies
- Familiarity with MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, or Command of the Message sales playbooks
- Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tool
