Job Summary
Manage overall client relationships for small commercial accounts by serving as the primary point of contact to address inquiries, guide coverage changes, and educate clients on exclusions. Act as a field underwriter to assess and bind coverage, prepare client proposals including loss evaluations, and communicate billing options. Oversee renewal remarketing to ensure retention, conduct policy audits during renewals, and review cancellation requests to maintain financial integrity. Assist clients with first report claims submissions and facilitate carrier responses to expedite settlements. Stay informed on industry developments and adopt proprietary AI solutions to enhance service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Property and Casualty License from state of domicile
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years account management experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines of coverage
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for both in-person and teleconference/webinar sessions
- In-depth understanding of advanced commercial lines of coverage with the ability to advise clients concerning their complex insurance needs
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word)
- Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings and underwriting procedures
- Must have a valid driver's license
- The ability to travel to client sites
- A reliable source of transportation
