Job Summary
Serve as the initial point of contact for clients, monitoring inquiries and providing coverage recommendations in partnership with the Account Management Team. Identify and resolve routine client issues while maintaining accurate client files and adhering to company workflows. Assist with remarketing renewals to ensure account retention, prepare proposals, and expedite claim settlements by reviewing carrier policies for accuracy. Proactively communicate significant audit differences to clients and confirm necessary corrections between the client and carrier. Review cancellation requests to identify retention opportunities while preserving the company's financial interests. Keep up to date with industry trends, new products, and legislation to improve service performance. Fully adopt innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, to deliver a best-in-class client service experience.
Required Qualifications
- Property and Casualty License from state of domicile
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of client service experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to client sites
- Reliable source of transportation
- In-depth understanding of commercial lines of coverage
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policies
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word)
- Proficient skills in agency management systems software
- Proficient skills in online rating systems
- Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings and underwriting procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Associate in insurance (AINS)
- Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Designation
- Four-year degree
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process
