Job Summary
The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for delivering professional service to both new and existing clients in insurance matters. The role involves collaboration with risk advisors on client service, marketing, and renewal processes. Duties include responding to customer inquiries, managing endorsements and claims, and enhancing client policy retention through effective communication and customer service skills. Candidates should have an active P&C license or the ability to obtain one, experience within the commercial lines insurance sector, and strong organizational and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active P&C license or ability to obtain upon hire
- Prior experience in the commercial lines insurance industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills
- Computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management
- Experience with agency management systems, preferably Applied Epic
