Account Manager - Commercial Landscaping

Job Summary
Manage crew members through morning dispatch, performance reviews, and workload planning while creating strong customer relationships to ensure quality, timely service on commercial landscaping projects. Conduct proactive site quality reviews, communicate assessments internally and externally, and network to earn referrals that support branch growth objectives. Lead the team in expanding base contracts within targeted market segments and geographic locations while assisting in achieving overall goals for quality, retention, and profitability. This role requires a 6am start Monday through Friday in Camarillo, CA, with a salary range of $80,000 to $95,000 plus annual bonus potential. Candidates must have 3+ years of client and crew management experience in the commercial landscape industry, a related degree or 2-3 years of horticulture experience, and strong sales and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years+ of client & crew management experience within the commercial landscape industry with a proven track record of managing a large client portfolio
- 2 or 4-year college degree in a related field
- minimum of 2-3 years landscape/horticulture experience
- experience training and managing multiple crew members/gardeners
- 3 years of strong customer service, sales and communication experience, or combined comparable experience
- Sound time management and organizational skills with a strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal verbal & written skills
- ability to write and present proposals and bids
- Experience in consultative sales to clients for additional services
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Candidates living in and/or around the Camarillo/Ventura area
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish Bilingual
- 2 or 4-year college degree in a related field and/or, have a minimum of 2-3 years landscape/horticulture experience preferred to include training and managing multiple crew members/gardeners
- Candidates living in and/or around the Camarillo/Ventura area is highly preferred
