Job Summary
Lead the Collections Team by serving as the primary escalation point for complex customer issues and providing daily operational support to ensure policy and compliance adherence. Oversee collection efforts on Large Target Accounts, partner with the manager on strategies to reduce delinquency, and monitor account portfolios to identify trends and process improvements. Track and report on key performance indicators including call activity, delinquency, and recovery rates while coaching underperforming reps. Assist with onboarding new team members, lead team huddles, and collaborate on performance incentive programs based on team input. Document and refine department workflows to improve collection practices. Full-time, on-site role in Sandpoint, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, starting at $23.00-$25.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of collections practices, regulations, and customer retention strategies
- Proven ability to handle escalated calls and sensitive customer scenarios with professionalism and diplomacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with Water Desk or Aspire and BillTrust
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general reporting tools

- High school or equivalent
- Accounts receivable: 3 years

- Sandpoint office location (with possibility of hybrid for candidates more than 30 minutes from Sandpoint)
