Job Summary
Manage wholesale client relationships by building long-term retention, monitoring technical support needs, and troubleshooting quality concerns. Coordinate delivery, roasting, and production duties within the Fitzroy Roastery while completing training programs with client teams. Develop new business opportunities through ongoing account development and communicate client requirements to the roasting team for marketing and technical support. Maintain small batch roasting skills and assist with production responsibilities. Requires a full driver's license for multiple days of weekly road deliveries, advanced specialty coffee industry knowledge, and availability for weekday and occasional weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- Full driver's license
- willingness to be on the road for deliveries multiple days a week
- Advanced knowledge of the specialty coffee industry
- Experience in an Account Management or customer retention role
- Strong initiative with the ability to form mutually beneficial relationships
- Astute problem solving and communication skills
- Previous barista skills with strong knowledge and experience with alternative brewing methods
- Competency with computers and software including cloud-based software
- Availability work on weekdays and the occasional weekend
