Job Summary

Manage and grow a portfolio of multifamily customer accounts while identifying and developing new program opportunities across Western Washington. Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, management companies, developers, and contractors, driving participation through proactive outreach, relationship building, and education. Develop proposals and recommendations supporting energy savings, then maintain a robust pipeline of projects to achieve participation and energy savings goals. Set your own routes and calendar for day-to-day customer visits and contractor engagement, managing complex projects from inception through completion. This role requires a relationship-driven, technically curious individual with 5-8 years of relevant industry experience. Compensation ranges from $88,500 to $112,900. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Western Washington for customer meetings, site visits, and contractor engagement
  • Overnight travel capability (rare, typically no more than once a month or every other month)
  • 5-8 years relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant industry experience (may substitute for formal education)
  • Experience with multifamily properties, construction, or retrofit work such as heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, insulation, or weatherization
  • Some exposure to or comfort with a sales oriented approach
  • Prior sales experience (noted as a plus but not required, treated as desired per soft cue)
  • People management experience (noted as a plus but not required, treated as desired per soft cue)
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED Green Associate, or BPI certification (noted as a plus but not required, treated as desired per soft cue)
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
  • Must pass pre-employment checks
  • Must meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
  • Must be based in the Seattle to Olympia corridor, including Tacoma, Des Moines, or Federal Way

  • Must be able to drive program participation and customer engagement through proactive outreach, relationship building, and education
  • Must be able to develop and deliver customer proposals and recommendations that support energy savings and program objectives
  • Must be able to maintain a robust pipeline of energy efficiency projects to achieve participation and energy savings goals
  • Must be able to manage and grow a portfolio of multifamily customer accounts while identifying and developing new program opportunities
  • Must be able to identify energy-saving opportunities, promote available rebates and incentives, and manage project pipelines
  • Must be able to support customers through the successful implementation of energy efficiency projects
  • Must be able to serve as the primary point of contact for multifamily property owners, management companies, developers, and contractors participating in a utility-sponsored energy efficiency rebate program across Western Washington
