Job Summary
Account Manager in Veolia's Water Technology Business focused on Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM). Responsible for developing advanced chemical water and process treatment solutions, acting as a technical advisor to customers, delivering sample testing and Technical Service Reports, and executing Value Generation Plans and Service/Business Reviews to demonstrate measurable customer value. Responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing treatment programs for Cooling Water, Boiler Water, Wastewater, Memchem, and Process Applications; driving revenue growth while managing margins and commercial negotiations; maintaining a healthy sales funnel and securing recurring, profitable opportunities; ensuring safety and compliance with EHS policies; and collaborating with teams to promote water and energy sustainability and asset protection. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 8+ years in the field, 4+ years of technical sales in the water treatment industry, and willingness to travel; key characteristics include strong communication, problem-solving, analytical capabilities, and the ability to operate in industrial environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or Engineering/Technologist (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical) or 8+ years in the field; high school education also acceptable
- Chemical water & process treatment experience
- 4+ years of technical sales experience with demonstrated success in account management, revenue growth, and customer relationships
- Experience with consultative selling and technical solution development
- Full valid driver's license and willingness to travel
