Job Summary
Account Manager for Cardiometabolic in Northeast Ohio & Western Pennsylvania, responsible for managing ARDx Cardiometabolic product portfolio focused on point-of-care diagnostics (Afinion HbA1C and ACR; Cholestech LDX for cholesterol, lipids, and glucose) in physician offices, hospital accounts, corporate wellness, and IDNs. Works with Technical Consultants and Enterprise Account Managers to meet sales objectives, develop and maintain distributor and end-user relationships, and identify unmet market needs. Activities include identifying sales opportunities, strategic development of POC sales, implementing sales, marketing, and national account programs, maintaining product knowledge, training distributor sales forces, supporting contract negotiations, pricing, proposals, and bid preparation, and ensuring effective post-sale follow-up. Travel up to 75-80% within the territory, with remote field-based engagement and team-based collaboration to drive territory growth and meet goals.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in sales, marketing, business management, or life science
- 4+ years’ experience in medical diagnostics or business-to-business sales
- Understanding and experience working with Distribution Partners
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies
- Proven successful POC/Capital Equipment sales experience
