Job Summary

Account Manager responsible for retention, growth and profitability of SME accounts across Taunton, Bristol and Gloucester. Primary interface between Biffa and customers, overseeing retention, contract compliance and pricing negotiations, and driving profitability. Role includes site audits, contract establishment and recording, cross-functional liaison with Customer Services and Operations to reduce churn, and collaboration with Depot/Regional Managers to resolve issues. Travel required. Key strengths: strong account-management experience, exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, tenacity, analytical capability, and ability to identify and implement solutions to sustain profitable partnerships.
