Job Summary
Service clients with insurance policies written for Berkley Marketplace trading partners by acting as the single point of contact for agents, underwriters, and clients. Mentor and assist with training of more junior team members while ensuring compliance with Surplus Lines regulations. Manage renewal activity, policy premium billings, and accounts receivable for assigned books of business. Enter and maintain policy transactions in Berkley Marketplace's Agency Management System and complete agency appointments and contracts for new trading partners. Answer client questions via phone and email promptly and interact with external brokers and internal underwriters to process service requests. Complete special projects assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- College degree
- 5 or more years of insurance experience
- Excess and Surplus lines experience
- Strong understanding of insurance concepts and market forces
- Strong customer service proficiency
- Well organized with ability to understand priorities and meet deadlines
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong results orientation, focusing on outcomes, delivering on commitment and deadlines
- Teamwork, providing and welcoming open, honest, respectful, and constructive feedback
- Technical Proficiency, ability to learn and apply new skills
- Located in our Scottsdale, AZ or West Chester, OH offices

- Property and Casualty insurance licenses
