Job Summary
The Account Manager plays a vital role in customer communication, relationship management, and strategic collaboration with companies to address their supply chain and logistical needs. Responsibilities include developing customer overviews, identifying transportation opportunities, onboarding new customers, collaborating with the Pricing Team, managing CRM records, and engaging in quarterly business reviews. Candidates must have proven freight skills, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a high-growth environment.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in sales preferred
- 2+ year of experience in working with shippers in the freight/logistics industry
- 2+ year of experience in sales, operations, account management, or similar functions
- Demonstrated success in high-growth environment, including process development, implementation, and execution
- Possess strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Comfortable with change
- Resourceful and flexible
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Manage and prioritize competing demands
Desired Qualifications
- Excel proficiency preferred
- Experience with McLeod Software preferred
