Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with utility, construction, and engineering accounts in the assigned regional area. Drive profitable sales growth by building a robust pipeline, conducting personal and telephone outreach, and staying attuned to industry trends. Manage quotes, contracts, rate adjustments, renewals, and forecasting while coordinating with inside sales, Billing/AR, and Regional Operations to ensure exceptional customer experience. Proactively identify high-potential accounts, convert opportunities, and participate in quarterly business reviews. Utilize Salesforce for account information and forecasts; travel up to 75% to cover the territory. Requires strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of sales experience with demonstrated customer service acumen
- Demonstrated track record of successful selling in a B2B environment
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce or similar)
- Availability to travel within the assigned territory ~75% of the time
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and sales skills
