Job Summary
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs while delivering MLR-approved, education-focused messages and assigned therapeutic area disease-state information. Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, and safety to equip them with tools for robust patient conversations. Execute business planning and financial goals for your assigned territory, ensuring adherence to call activity targets. Build HCP knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps across all domains. This Account Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and operates within a dynamic "startup" environment. The role requires domestic travel, including overnight trips, with the majority of time spent in the market.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight travel, majority of time will be spent in market
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific field
- Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent
- Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in the assigned therapeutic area
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care
- Experience selling within healthcare institutions
- Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience
