Job Summary
Support Mercer MMB team in a Hong Kong hybrid role: assist the consulting team in data gathering, organizing, entering and analysing data in Excel for client projects; analyze results and manage portions of projects; review the work of other analysts; interpret vendor data and summarize RFP responses in Excel or PowerPoint for client presentations; assist with RFP prep and follow up on quotes from providers; review quotes to ensure benefits, terms and conditions match the RFP; update costing tables, benefits schedules, and renewal information; work directly with clients and manage the RFP process with health insurance carriers and internal peers; ensure information is filed in shared folders; assist with renewal confirmations to insurers and peer reviews; support the team with report preparation and ad hoc projects; gain understanding of products, services, tools, vendor markets, and participate in training programs.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
- 4+ years' experience in administration, preferably from a client servicing industry
- Strong track record in client and vendor management
- Self-initiative and curiosity in insurance/ health sector
- Self-motivated to seek out knowledge, test ideas and ways to contribute to the team
- Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with team members
- Strong language skills in English and Cantonese. Mandarin would be a plus
