Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for selling data center networking solutions to Fortune 1000 accounts in healthcare, higher ed, manufacturing, and energy; use consultative selling to address business needs around hybrid cloud computing and siloed IT systems; collaborate with customer engineers, Professional Services, and executives to design and position solutions such as Software-Driven Open Networking platforms, DANZ Monitoring Fabric, NDR, and End Point Security; build and manage channel relationships, form strategic account plans, and conduct demand generation activities (e.g., happy hours, tech forums); maintain awareness of partner solutions and competitors; pursue new logo opportunities and expand Arista’s presence within targeted accounts.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of technology sales experience
- Proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets
- Relevant data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industry background
- Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory
- Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
- Selling experience and technical acumen in Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure or Cloud computing
