Job Summary
Account Manager at Arista Networks in the Rome region working as the face of Arista to customers, aligning technical resources to customer outcomes, and collaborating with Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and executive teams. Responsibilities include identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities across the Arista product portfolio (Data Centre, Campus Networking, Cloud WI-FI/POE, Routing Platform, Cloud Vision, DMF Fabric Monitoring, NDR, Endpoint and AI-driven Network Identity Management), managing a portfolio of accounts, creating and executing targeted account plans, establishing customer demand through pre-engagement planning, aligning year 1 to year 3 priorities, and travel within the territory. Requires 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, networking equipment knowledge, a Bachelor's degree (CS/BS/BA/BBA) or equivalent, residency in Italy (preferably Rome), fluency in Italian and English, and ability to travel. Travel to customers and regional partners within the territory is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (BA/BS, CS, BBA) or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience with a focus on developing enterprise organizations
- Experience selling networking equipment and data center solutions (Router, Switch, SDN, SD-WAN, Campus Networks, Network Virtualization, NFV)
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Currently resident in Italy, preferably near Rome
- Ability to travel to customers and regional partners within the territory
- Demonstrated leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of building business plans, documenting processes, and exceeding sales targets
- Proven navigation of End User requirements definition through contracting and resale processes
