Job Summary
Manage client-owned inventory and optimize stock levels by creating forecasts, updating product statuses, and communicating with customers. Liaise between specific clients and internal Apollo staff to address inquiries regarding pre-development, shipments, and sample requests. Problem-solve client issues, cover portfolios during absences, and maximize sales of current SKUs while ensuring in-stock levels. Log data in the ERP system, review production statuses, and mitigate risks from short shipments. Report escalated concerns to the VP of Sales and attend weekly department meetings. Travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in account management
- Post-secondary education (college diploma or university degree) in a related field
- Extensive experience in client management within the beauty and CPG industries
- Analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ERP systems such as Syspro
- Experience with platforms like Qualio
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple moving parts such as sample requests, production timelines, inventory forecasting, and cross-functional communications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong ability to manage timelines, reporting, client portals, and regular follow-ups
- Strong problem-solving abilities
