Job Summary
Account Manager in NYC responsible for managing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within a designated territory of elevator services and modernization. Serve as primary point of contact for customers, develop strategic plans to expand the customer base, prepare proposals/contracts, collaborate with technical/engineering teams, and provide technical guidance on elevator products and services. Requires 7+ years in elevator sales/account management, a bachelor’s degree, strong negotiation and communication skills, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel; located in New York, NY with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in sales or account management within the elevator industry or a closely related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly grasp complex elevator systems and technologies
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
- Willingness to train and develop others as necessary
