Job Summary
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned small business clients, building trusted relationships with clients, carrier partners, and vendors. Respond to inquiries regarding eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims, COBRA, and benefit administration while coordinating meetings, renewals, and open enrollment activities. Manage annual renewals by gathering census data, reviewing proposals, and facilitating new plan implementations and carrier transitions. Maintain accurate client records within agency management systems, track service deliverables, and assist with compliance-related questions and required notices. This role supports businesses and individuals in protecting what matters most through proactive service, strategic guidance, and an exceptional client experience.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Knowledge of employee benefit products and carrier processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Active Life and Health License or ability to obtain within the required timeframe
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three or more years of employee benefits account management experience
- Insurance brokerage experience
- Experience supporting small employer groups
- Experience with agency management systems
