Job Summary
Account Manager in Elko, NV responsible for building and sustaining high-value partnerships in Airgas’s industrial and medical gas sectors. Grow an established territory by nurturing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities, acting as a consultative partner to help customers integrate Airgas solutions to drive operational value. Develop strategic roadmaps to achieve sales milestones, manage the partnership lifecycle, coordinate information flow to maintain healthy margins, and engage key stakeholders. Travel within the assigned territory and maintain ongoing customer relationships while staying knowledgeable about products and competitive landscape; leverage CRM tools (Salesforce) and SAP to manage accounts and deliver value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or 2-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of success in B2B sales or business development, preferably in industrial gas or related industry
- Proven ability to advance sales and meet milestones
- Ability to use collaborative sales process to understand and address customer needs
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software
- Ability to identify client pain points and facilitate technical solutions that create value
- Strong skills in aligning and negotiating to meet customer needs
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and flexible hours
- Comfort in a drug-free workplace
