Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for managing the sales process and driving profitable growth within an assigned territory (Albertville, AL). Will cultivate relationships with existing and new Airgas customers, develop and implement sales plans, qualify and connect with leads, quote pricing and delivery terms, manage accounts receivable to protect working capital, and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs. Requires consultative selling to understand customer businesses, deliver solutions, maintain sales reporting (SAP), and stay informed on market trends and Airgas product mixes. Strong emphasis on relationship-building, territory planning, pricing/credit terms, delivery scheduling, and driving customer success within the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration
- 3+ years in outside business-to-business sales
- Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, or a background in industrial gas / welding supply sales considered valuable
