Job Summary
Manage the sales process and drive profitable growth within your assigned Port Richey territory by cultivating relationships with existing and new customers. Develop and implement sales plans to obtain orders and establish new accounts while qualifying leads and nurturing consultative partnerships. Prepare proposals by quoting pricing, setting credit terms, and estimating delivery dates based on production schedules. Maintain daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses in SAP, and actively manage Accounts Receivable to protect working capital. Collaborate with internal resources to support customer successes and stay informed on industry trends and market intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Reliable transportation
- Current driver's license
- Minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years in outside business-to-business sales
- Effectiveness in solution-selling concepts
- Experience supporting customers within an assigned customer community
- Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases
- Background in industrial gas / welding supply sales
