Job Summary
Account Handler for a Real Estate claims portfolio based in the UK/Europe. Responsible for investigating, negotiating, and agreeing settlement of property claims, liaising with insureds, insurers/brokers, and overseas stakeholders, producing compliance reports, and ensuring timely billing and invoicing. Role involves handling client reviews, maintaining data protection and information security standards, and collaborating with McLarens Adjusters as appropriate. Hybrid work arrangement with offices in Chelmsford (Essex) and Glasgow (Scotland). Focused on delivering professional, timely conclusions, cross-border coordination, and strong relationship management within a global loss-adjusting environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally experience in real estate/commercial property loss adjusting
- focus on quality, communication and organisational skills
- proven negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving abilities
- strong stakeholder management
- ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
- professional qualification or working towards qualification (desirable)
