Job Summary

Account Handler for Commercial & Schemes at Howden, based in the Dover office. You’ll manage administration of client insurance requirements including inquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, quotations, and invoicing of premiums for SME clients. Responsibilities include handling queries, producing professional documentation, processing adjustments with insurers, refer to senior staff when needed, and contributing to re-marketing and renewal activities. Requires accuracy, literacy, numeracy, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; knowledge of commercial insurance and Acturis is desirable. Qualifications include GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent); a Certificate in Insurance is desirable. This role is full-time and on-site in Dover during training with potential for flexible/hybrid arrangements later.
