Job Summary
Account Executive at Finastra focused on expanding and retaining business within a portfolio of existing Bank, Credit Union, and Financial Institution clients in the West Region. Primary focus is driving renewals with added value and uncovering/closing new revenue through strategic cross-selling and up-selling of Finastra’s Lending and Mortgage Solutions (including LaserPro and Mortgagebot). Build executive relationships, align solutions to client goals, and deliver measurable impact. Responsibilities include cultivating strategic relationships across a defined set of accounts, leading renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, developing tailored account strategies, collaborating with Solution Consulting, Value Engineering, and Client Services to deliver value-driven proposals, serving as escalation point for client issues, conducting regular business reviews, maintaining Salesforce pipeline, meeting/exceeding revenue targets, staying current on offerings and industry trends, and promoting a customer-first mindset. Requires minimum 5+ years in B2B software sales, proven cross-sell/up-sell, strong pipeline management, exceptional communication skills, Salesforce proficiency, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Travel up to 35%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales and account management
- Proven track record of growing existing accounts and closing cross-sell/up-sell opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior-level stakeholders
- Proficient in Salesforce and sales forecasting methodologies
- Ability to collaborate across functional teams and lead virtual account teams toward shared goals
- Travel up to 35%
