Job Summary
An Account Executive in the welding and industrial gases sector is responsible for nurturing and growing key client relationships and serves as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts. The role focuses on advancing revenue growth through understanding customer needs, providing comprehensive solutions involving welding processes, industrial gases, and welding hard goods. The executive will lead the sales process for new business, develop engagement strategies customized to customer priorities, and maintain relationships with District Managers and local sales teams for successful account transitions. Candidates should possess technical knowledge related to welding processes, industrial gases, equipment, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Current driver's license
- Minimum liability insurance as required by state
- In place of a degree, 4 years of additional related professional experience
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Education: An MBA or a Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Professional Certifications: AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or other industry-recognized credentials
