Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for prospecting and closing new customers in a defined territory, collaborating with engineering, product, marketing, and service teams to design and position customer-centric solutions, building trusted relationships with operations, engineering, IT, and business stakeholders, managing the full sales lifecycle from discovery through close, maintaining pipeline visibility in Salesforce, delivering high-quality customer interactions including presentations, solution positioning, and proposal development, and traveling locally or regionally up to 50% to support customer engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor�s degree from an accredited university
- 3+ years of sales experience within the process control, industrial automation, or related industrial technology industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience supporting or closing complex, solution-based sales cycles
- Ability to proactively prospect and develop greenfield new business
- Confidence engaging customers at multiple levels of the organization
- Strong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Working knowledge of CRM tools; Salesforce experience preferred
