Job Summary
Account Executive — Southeast Region responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of licensed commercial cannabis cultivation accounts across the Southeast. The role requires building a qualified pipeline (target 5–10 active accounts within 60 days), conducting on-site visits with head growers and cultivation directors, recommending products aligned with each customer’s grow style and IPM program, and coordinating fulfillment with the Jacksonville warehouse. The role demands cultivation credibility, knowledge of substrates (rockwool, coco), IPM (biological/chemical), and consumables, plus CRM discipline to track contacts, pipeline, and revenue forecasts. Travel within the Southeast is required; the position supports remote work options and offers a base salary with commission, benefits, and a 60–90 day ramp. The successful candidate will leverage established Southeast operator relationships, manage ongoing accounts, and represent the brand at regional events while ensuring timely order fulfillment and inventory planning.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years in/commercial cannabis cultivation sales in the Southeast (Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, etc.)
- existing relationships with head growers, cultivation directors, or procurement contacts at licensed Southeast cultivation operations
- hands-on cultivation knowledge: substrate selection, IPM programs, environmental controls, humidity/mildew/heat management
- familiarity with rockwool, coco growing media, biological and chemical IPM, PPE/consumables
- valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to customer sites
- base salary + commission structure; CRM and pipeline discipline
- based in Florida; willingness to cover Southeast territory
- strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
