Job Summary
SOCi Account Executive role (remote, transitioning to hybrid in-office in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON) entails driving new business for SOCi’s AI-powered local marketing platform. Responsibilities include generating business plans, identifying and pursuing new sources of business with multi-location brands, prospecting and closing opportunities, representing SOCi at industry events, and building relationships with high-level decision-makers. The role requires deep industry expertise in localized marketing, a proven quota-earning track record in B2B SaaS, CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent), and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities while delivering strategic sales outcomes. The team collaborates cross-functionally to grow revenue, maintain pipelines, and stay ahead with innovative technologies. Education required: BA/BS or equivalent practical experience. Hybrid/remote work arrangement initially, with a future 50/50 split between remote and in-office work when offices are established.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of quota carrying experience in B2B SaaS Sales – preferably in MarTech
- Ability to prove consistently hitting or overachieving quota
- Multi-location brands experience and existing industry contacts/relationships preferred
- Self-starter with a creative entrepreneurial spirit
- Refined and proven sales methodology
- Creative strategist; develop new ways to drive sales and value to existing and prospective clients
- Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Creative problem solver with the ability to understand and resolve prospective client challenges/objections
- Adaptable; able to quickly learn new technologies and processes
- Have experience selling cutting edge, disruptive technology to top decision-makers at the enterprise level
- Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience
- Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
