Job Summary
Account Executive for SMB segment at Handoff who will own the full outbound sales cycle from prospecting to closing. The role requires identifying target accounts, writing sequences, booking meetings with remodeling contractors, and rapidly testing outbound messaging and cadences to build a repeatable playbook. You will collaborate with Sales leadership and Product to refine ICP, value props, and sales strategy, track funnel metrics (connect, meeting, opportunity, close), and contribute to hiring and onboarding as the team scales. Experience with outbound in SaaS, a hunter mentality, high activity, and comfort with CRMs and outbound tools is essential. The position envisions expanding outbound success to larger remodeling firms and franchises and setting the foundation for a scalable outbound team.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience
- proven track record closing SMB deals (ideally <$3K ACV)
- experience prospecting into non-technical or blue-collar verticals (bonus if contractors/field services)
- high activity, self-directed, fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- excellent communication and listening skills
- comfortable using HubSpot or similar CRMs and outbound tools (e.g., Apollo, SalesNav)
