Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for maximizing sales growth for Shamrock Foods Company through face-to-face selling to restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutions. Prospect and build a territory, maintain and grow current customer base, and share market intelligence. Conduct product demonstrations and comparisons, support menu engineering and food cost analysis to improve profitability, leverage technology for customer efficiency, and develop multi-level relationships while meeting performance goals in a commission-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma and/or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus
- 2+ years’ experience in culinary, restaurant operations, foodservice, or related experience preferred
- Current driver license
- Demonstrated expertise in problem solving
- Comfort using technology; and analyzing customer data
- Knowledgeable on industry trends
- Expertise in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays
